The Core has voted 4-0 to accept the rough draft of Guilds Charter. Each Core Member of JFG was given time to review the 14 article charter, discuss and suggest corrections to the charter and then vote to accept or decline the whole thing. Out of 5 members 4 voted to accept. The charter is now being reviewed by JFGs Officer's who will have time to learn the charter, ask questions, and suggestion changes prior to charter being released to the rest of the guild. Our forum and site uses a complex permissions system based on groups and persons. For this reason, it is IMPORTANT that after you are registered on the site you must apply to a group if you want full access to all of the areas of this site. In the navigation block (look to the left) you will see a link that says Groups. By clicking this link you will be able to VIEW and APPLY for membership to the various groups of this site. Starting this month (August) I will no longer be chasing down people to find out where they belong. If you want to be able to access all of your guilds forums (raid boards, professions, officer, etc) you must apply for a group. After listening to our members we have assigned the dubious task of researching the best voice chat server to Promethianshade (aka shadowgem). She has nailed down two servers of choice: Ventrilo and Teamspeak. Officers have been given instructions and are working at analysing them. The BANKER rank was moved from rank 4 to rank 3 and VETERAN was moved from rank 3 to rank 4. Seems people were promoting others to BANKER when they had no buisness doing so. The power to promote was given to Veterans shortly after the guild was founded as a way to give them something as a way to thank them for all their efforts in getting the guild off the ground and the time they spent recruiting and staging hunts. As our popultaion has swelled it seems some have taken advantage of this gift. Those who did, know who they are, and have been warned that any further abuse of their rank will result in either demotion to intiate (for a time) or in kicking them entirley from guild. Their accounts have been noted and officers can make any necessary corrections on the spot (including kicking if the deem it necessary). Only OFFICERS AND ABOVE may promote any toon to BANKER at this point. Banker ranks still maintain all previous powers and toons.
