Mythic gave us Dark Age of Camelot and Warhammer. They also host Ultima Online (now owned by EA). With WarHammer getting mixed reviews from players and MMO news services alike, it looks like they are trying to up their player base and we get the BENEFIT!!

Check out this qoute from their newsletter dated January 2010. The game was originally based on the tabletop RPG Warhammer 40k (or warhammer 40,000). During the alpha stage and design the creators and developers had a conflict of design and split. Mythic contiued the design and WarHammer was born. A strong Pvp and Guild system game with tons of PvE content, it promises lots of new and interesting design features. Some things I found exciting are the video design and guild system. the toons look great, smooth and flow with each movement. Their guild system is rich and allow for guilds to grow just as toons. Where each new guild level unlocks new features for the whole guild. Capital cities are atackable, and keeps and seige equipment take on new looks as they upgrade or take damage. Thus allowing for the VR world to change as players and guilds interact with it.

ya i got that e-mail saying that... but i was quite upset with them, i tried the free trial and i could not get it to work from their download i called them and tried 3 different download sites of there choice (and a couple more that was more of uncharacterized sites) and i still never got it to work then a few days later i got the e-mail telling me that my free trial account had ended. when i called them and complained that i still had not gotten it to work their reply was to find someone that had a Cd and use it and they would reactivate my account...

all in all i have nothing bad to say about their customer service it was actually really well done and professional (no one immediately thinking that i was a novice i.e. did you make sure the computer is plugged in? we talked they were open to what i did know and did not) .. but after 2 weeks of working with it i got fed up with trying to "try it" that the last resort was to buy it or the one person i knew near by that had a Cd and told me how much i need to try it could not get the CD to me (because of lack of effort nothing more)

wonder if the issue is fixed now then. ill have to install it and see.

jsut tried... downloaded installed patched and now says no network connection tells me to contact administrator on my computer... um that is me.... check other programs no issues... looked at thier forums and sounds like others are having the same issues... as of now no resolves... i am wondering if it is something on there end i know there is a patch for today but al the servers show up and active and from what i can tell (via forums) there are ppl playing

tried again this morning and worked fine played alittle bit made a dark elf on the Badland server forgot the name it was a random name all the names i use were taken
